For half a century now, experts and decision-makers from the banking world have been meeting once a year at the “Bankenfachtagung”. At the end of November, INSYS locks once again accepted Diebold Nixdorf’s invitation and presented intelligent solutions in accordance with current security standards.
Over 150 representatives of the financial industry met in Rottach-Egern from 27 to 29 November 2019 to discuss current developments and future trends. “Banking 5.0 – from local to digital champion” was the theme of the 50th banking conference.
In specialist lectures, workshops and discussions, the focus was particularly on digitalisation. In addition, speakers from other industries – including a butcher from Lower Franconia in Bavaria – presented their successful business models to provide inspiration for retail banking.
INSYS locks brought news about the developments of the new European norm EN 1300 to the southern shore of the Bavarian Tegernsee. Head of Division Detlef Lücke and Mario Bauer, Head of Development and Service, presented the new functions in the online application for the TwinLock® lock system, thus offering an innovative and secure solution for the ongoing digitalisation of “Banking 5.0” in accordance with the event title.
