Stockholm, 27 March 2026 – INSYS locks has achieved another milestone in the high-security lock industry: the networked locks TwinLock® B-DS, C-DS and D-DS have been successfully certified by the Swedish testing and certification body SBSC.
With this award, INSYS locks is the first company in the industry to receive SBSC certification for networked locks in Distributed Systems. The company now holds a total of four certifications from recognised testing bodies for distributed networked locking solutions.
High security standards for TwinLock® in Distributed Systems
The SBSC certification confirms that the high-security locks TwinLock® B-DS, C-DS and D-DS meet the stringent security requirements. This includes, among other things, protection against both physical and digital tampering, secure and encrypted communication between networked locks, and controlled access management with verifiable authentication. In addition, the certification covers the documented compliance with manufacturing and quality processes as required by an internationally recognised testing authority.
International recognition for the TwinLock® range
The SBSC certification complements the previously attained VdS, ECBS and A2P certificates for the TwinLock® DS locks and underscores the international uniqueness of the TwinLock® range as the leading networked locks for Distributed Systems.
